The purpose of this section is to learn how to get into a game and, with various menus, show a possible way to start playing. So follow along in the === Beginner's Tutorial === as I play the first eight moves of a REAL game played 7-7-99 at PressEnter server. (No nuke babies or dummy empires were used. This was live action). I also included a couple screens from the end of the game.

There are several ways to meet other players. A good way is to join internet relay chat (IRC). You also can learn what is going on by joining various Stellar Crisis discussion groups.
To find games, try Andy Grave's Game Availability program (It's slow to load and sometimes doesn't work due to slow server).
